Lonico is a new brand which offers fast and responsible loans for customers from Europe through modern, digital ways of communication. Apart from allowing for submitting and managing loans through a desktop dashboard, the platform offers also a mobile application to let users stay informed wherever they are.

Needs

The whole Lonico project was created to mark a new digital era and it required creating a new visual identification and full online platform to manage all online services across all devices. The digital product involves a desktop dashboard, an iOS application and a new website whose components have to be manageable from a centralised design system.

Branding

The logo was designed to look like a hot air balloon that symbolizes the goals and dreams of customers. It was also important to emphasize the flow of money which is represented by the continuity of the form.

Design System

One of the challenges was to design a platform that provide very similar experiences across all devices. A unified design that looks and behaves the same way either a user is on desktop or on mobile app. To ensure that, I created a Design System that lets for seamless managing of Lonico interface components and significantly speeds up the workflow. Designed, tested and gathered in one big Figma file.

Dashboard

To let customers have a preview of their own loans and let them manage payments, share recipients and send requests for new credits, I prepared a design of a desktop dashboard. Lonico had to have a simple and intuitive platform to be very easy to use without any help and yet complex enough to answer all clients’ needs.

Application

The next step to meet all the requirements for service digitalisation was creating an iOS Application. Mobile users are a rapidly growing group for whom having easy access to their payments is a big factor.

Website

Based on the dashboard and using created design system, I designed a website in which the main feature is a credit calculator. It was placed right on the hero screen to gain the most attention and encourage potential customers to submit requests.
